Seattle Baby Shower Brunch

A very great friend of mine, Jill (she is on the far left in the picture below), threw me a very small baby shower brunch at The Daily Grill in downtown Seattle.

Unfortunately I forgot to take out my camera before the end of brunch
and didn't get a picture of  my good friend Aubrey before she had to leave.

My mom was able to attend the brunch because she just so happened to be in town the same weekend.

Thanks so much to my wonderful friends in Seattle for the perfect third and final baby shower. I had such a great time and of course Baby G and her parents are very thankful for the gifts we got.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

I may not be able to drink a Guinness but I sure can put down some corned beef and cabbage to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

James, however started his day off with a game of golf and then joined his friends at the bar to celebrate. He did leave early to come home and spend some time with me and the pups.

Couldn't resist taking this picture of him after he came home from a fun filled day of St. Patty's Day celebrations.

Couples Yoga & Massage for Labor

Last night I forced James to go with me to a two hour class at Seattle Holistic Center, which is where I take prenatal yoga. The intention of this workshop is to help connect with each other and feel more confident in labor and birth through:
• Breathing, massage, acupressure and relaxation techniques
• Specific movements that help Baby G to be in an optimal position for birth
• And positions that will help cope with the pain of labor

The goal of the class is that hopefully we will both feel inspired and confident to birth Baby G!
That is exactly how I felt afterwards and surprisingly, James felt the same way (not that he is going to be birthing Baby G or anything but hopefully he will play a big role in supporting me). Yay! Mission Accomplished!

Here is James before class, demonstrating his favorite part of yoga, relaxation.

James and I both got a lot out of this class and really enjoyed it unlike our four hour birthing classes that we started today. Hopefully the next class will get better because today it was just about the basic things you learn in any pregnancy book. We will keep you posted on the birthing classes as we have three more to go! I know James is super excited : )

Cabo, Mexico Trip

Our trip to Cabo was a Careerbuilder company trip that I treated as a Baby Moon due to it being our last sunny and relaxing trip before Baby G's arrival. It was such an amazing trip!

View from our balcony at the Hilton Resort. The resort was getting ready for Careerbuilder's first event, poolside dinner.

Hanging out with friends after dinner.

James spent two of the vacation days deep sea fishing while I spent them at the spa, enjoying a prenatal massage and facial, and laying by the pool sipping virgin pina coladas, reading books and enjoying some me time.

This was some of the tuna James caught on his first fishing trip. He brought it back to the hotel and they cooked it up for him. He pretty much feed everybody at the pool except for me. It was sashimi, so I could only take a picture of how beautiful and delicious it looked. They did grill up some delicious tacos for me.

Careerbuilder knows how to throw a party! DJ and dance floor on the beach.

Enjoying the day in the old town of Cabo San Jose.

Crazy thing is that our friends John and Andrea, who use to work for Careerbuilder, were in Cabo on vacation at the same exact time as we were and staying at the same resort.

So our last night in Cabo we enjoyed a dinner with them on a cliff over looking the water.

For dinner we got to pick from the fresh fish and they cooked it up right there.

For dessert they gave us some delicious cinnamon donuts to congratulate us on Baby G.
