Michigan Baby Shower

James and I were both very touched and overwhelmed with all of the family and friends that came to Pasquale's to celebrate Baby G with us. It was such a wonderful time! We are so thankful for all the love that was shown. We are especially thankful to my mother-in-law and sister-in-laws for all the hard work and love that they put into the shower.

The cute sign in table with an adorable onesie for everyone to sign.

Two of the most delicious cakes I have ever had! Also on the dessert table was
chocolate covered strawberries and rice crispy treats in heart shapes.

Beautiful flower arrangement with peacock feathers. For those that don't know, peacock feathers have a very special meaning to me due to my grandmother who owned peacocks when I was a little girl.

James and I with some family.

One of my fav couples! My bestie Kelly with her hubby.

A little Abbey reunion! I met both these wonderful ladies in France and they happen
to be from Michigan. Such a small world.

Lexi and I with her adorable baby, Frankie.

Nice room set up and decorations. Everybody chatting it up and having a good time.

And here is Chris making one of his fabulous speeches. For those of you who may not know, Chris always has to make a speech at every get together. I feel this speech was probably the worst one yet. If you notice on the far left hand side Jenny is covering her face out of embarrassment for Chris or maybe for us. It was that bad! He talked about football then James breastfeeding and pumping and dumping. Yep! It was pretty bad, but I feel like everyone asked for it because as soon as that that table found out there was a microphone they did not stop egging Chris on. Got to love it. Great memories!

Then somebody decided to give James the microphone while we were opening gifts. James after a few drinks with a microphone is almost as bad as Chris. I think everyone knows this from our wedding rehearsal dinner speech when James ended the speech with he loves baby Jesus.

This was a fun game for everyone to play. It is like squares in football but it is squares for Baby G's height and weight. We will have to find out the big winner when she is born.

Here I am ending the day with my Mommy To Be sash that I forgot
 to wear during the shower.
