Throwback Wednesday...

I was going through my videos on my phone and ran across my favorite video of all time. I can't believe I didn't post this video when it happened! It was taken in New Orleans when we were down there for Christmas, so I guess I was just too busy during the holidays.

It's hard not to smile when watching this video and it is so crazy to see how much Z has changed.

Traveling South

The last time Z and I will take a trip down south until after baby #2 arrives, was spent soaking up all the time we could with family and friends. 

Z went to her first country wedding with Grandpa.

While the ceremony was going on Z and I found the perfect little wooden chair on the porch.

Here's our cousin, the groom, Anthony and his bride. The little ring bearer definitely stole the show.

Z met her cousin Noah for the first time (the little boy). She has met her cousin Phil many times before.

We also got to meet Noah's little brother Jonah for the first time.

There was a trip taken to Toys R Us with Nana, where Z ended up with a lot of toys and books in her basket.

We visited our cousin Ryan's new restaurant where I got to enjoy one of my favorite southern sandwiches.

Z got lots of loving from Nana

and she blew lots of bubbles for her in the bathtub.

But most of the time at Nana's house, Z just wanted to be around Peachie.

Z got to play with my friend Erin's girls. I think Mary Jane and Charlotte would have kept Z forever if they could.

We went and visited Mel's new little girl Rivers. Z was very interested in the one week old, just standing over her and waving for most of the time we were there.

But when she wasn't mesmerized by the adorable little baby, she was watching Uncle Jared and Stella play telephone.

 All and all it was a great trip that went by way too fast. Great memories are always made with my family and friends and it saddens me to know that we won't be traveling south for a little while. But when we do, there will be 2 little munchkins!

Here We Go Again

I wanted to do this post a week ago, when I was 16 weeks, in order to compare my baby bump from last pregnancy to this one.  But here I am a week late, which seems to be the trend lately when it comes to the blog.

Z's Walker

Ms. Z has started to walk holding on to things. Here's a video of Z using her baby walker for the first time. She only took a few steps forward but improving every day. 

And yes, Z loves to carry things around in her mouth. I'm pretty sure she thinks she is just one of the doggies. She is a funny little character.

Fourth of July Festivities

We went to the annual 4th of July party at Jeanna's house on Lake Sammamish. There is usually a kid party the day before and an adult party (which is the one we always attended) on the 4th. But this year, Jeanna has been fostering 11 month old triplets, since they were born (Yes, she is amazing). So she decided to combine the parties and we were excited to take Z for the first time. 

After Z got her swimsuit on, Uncle Wes took her for a dip in the lake.

She was just chillin, then things started getting a little wavy.

So Dad decided he better go down and make sure everything was o.k. 

Then it was time to try out the really cold kiddie pool.

Z didn't know what was going on. Was she seeing triple??

After the party, Z went home to hang out with our amazing babysitter and Mom and Dad got a night out on the boat with friends and Uncle Jordan who is visiting for the weekend.

And we had an amazing view for the fireworks show.

Stand Up

Z has been pulling herself up to standing since she discovered she could climb the stairs (a little over a month). Which at first meant many head bumps and falls. But it didn't take her long to figure out how to gently get herself down. She has also started to slowly cruise along the furniture.

In the last picture, as she squealed with excitement and said, "Mama mama," I can imagine she meant, "Look Mama! One hand!"
